What
to do after your vehicle has been stolen:
Vehicle theft should be reported as soon as possible. Stolen
vehicles are sometimes used in the commission of other crimes.
Quick action often results in recovery of your vehicle as well
as prevention of another crime.
In order
for the vehicle to be listed as stolen, you must have your vehicle's
license number and/or the vehicle identification number (sometimes
called VIN).
Call the police.
Call your
insurance agent if you have theft coverage. To
improve your chances of recovering your vehicle you may choose
to list it with The Nation's Neighborhood Watch For Stolen Vehicles
at StolenCarReports.com
Was your vehicle a race car?
Consider listing it on stolenRACEcar.com
in addition to StolenCarReports.com
in order to access this specific audience.
