Beyonce Band Members Stop A Carjacking

The members of Beyonce’s band, lead guitarist Shaun Carrington, bass player Kern Brantley, and drummer Nisan Stewart, helped prevent a carjacking after a 91-year-old man was almost robbed and nearly had his car stolen by a man armed with a knife in West Palm Beach, FL.

Police said that Reynold Caleen was pulled from his car and had his wallet taken from him. Caleen, however, was able to fight off the attacker long enough for the band members to block Caleen’s Mercury with their minivan.

The assailant attempted to make a run for it, but an employee from a near by drugstore tackled him while the band members helped subdue him until police arrived. Malcolm Clemens was charged with armed carjacking and battery of a person over 65, which is a felony charge.
